THIS is a novella I wrote to get back in the swing of things before tackling the remainder of Book Four. It became a semi-finalist entry in the ‘Writers of the Future’ contest for the 4th quarter of 2025.
It’s 17,000 words. Exactly 17,000 words.
Which also happens to be the contest’s length-limit.
There’ll be more where this came from. At least two more novellas. Concurrent with Book Four, I’m developing a prequel story-arc for Hugh, tentatively titled ‘The Arctic Circle Series.’
