HARNARAL
Following the abortive Blushun Insurgency, the capital of Kramarack and ancestral seat of House Harn has been left upended and mistrustful, a charred shell of its former self. But the Highlord’s Councilors haven’t met his fate, and they must yet convene to determine the future of the Kram. The old system remains in place … for now.
BALD TOR
A grassy prominence across the river from Harnaral. Tradition holds that the Broanoshi monastery which crowns it was the first such built within the Hidden Kingdom, on a site notably frequented by Igrealic Broanosh during his years of solitude. It remains an active center for nephology to this day.
THE KRAMISH HIGHLANDS
A threshold realm. Immense. Stark. Harsh with a beauty that’s all rough edges and bare space, ceaseless motion and ancient stillness. In the fertile river-valleys you may find easy living, but here, amid the heather-clad heights, only hardy shepherds and homesteaders endure the acidic soil and wind-wracked silence between the mountains and the sea.
BLUSHU
An architectural flower blooming in the lap of the Gnof Mountains, this Kramish market town is the terminus of a continent-spanning trade route, host to the annual Habridi caravan, and the site of the largest confluence of cultures in the otherwise-isolated northern world.
CLOUDFALL PASS
Flanked by the precipices of Arakul and Horak, Doorposts of the South, this icebound cleft opens upon the only route into Kramarack through the otherwise-impassible Gnof Mountains. In the lee of the Pass, atop a geothermal well, stands an ancient blackstone abbey.
